Range Hood Blower Power Packs

Range hoods power packs are what powers a range hood. They are designed to fit into a custom hood cover, or can be installed directly into cabinetry with a liner.

There are three basic types.

Internal blower power packs are located inside your range hood. Because this type is closer to your cooking space (usually just above your range/cooktop) it will be more efficient in cleaning unwanted contaminents from the air.

Inline blowers are a type of remote blower not locted inside your range hood, but positioned in your ductwork, between the range hood and the end of your ducting. They provide less power, but are generally quieter than an internal blower as they are not located inside the actual hood.

External blowers are not located inside your home at all. They are most commonly located on the roof of your home. They are most likely more expensive to install than the other 2 types, but the range hood would not be heard at all when running
