my cabinets are exactly 11 7/8 inches off the wall but that includes the front trim (outer edge) of the cabinet which drops down 1/2 inch from the inside bottom of the cabinet. Your photo shows this product on the inside of the bottom of the cabinet. With the dimensions I gave you would this fit or will I have to trim the back edges

This unit comes in separate parts. The front frame measures 18 3/8" tall and is designed to fit flush with the bottom lip of the upper cabinet. You can trim the bottom frame if necessary. The two side panels are 19" tall and 11" deep. These at made to fit up under the inside frame, which you can trim.
