Does the 26-1/4"Height include the chrome rails on top of the unit?

The manufacturer does not really clarify this. However, the minimum opening is 26-1/2" so I would say no. They list the height as the following: 26 1/4" to 27 27/32" So I would say the height with the rails is 27-27/32"
