The first unit is a soft close unit only. The second unit is a soft open/soft close. The open is an assist type set up. You open it about 3/4 of the way and the open assist will take it the rest.
I read a review about the Rev-A-Shelf 53WC-2150SCDM-213 or 4WCBM-18DM-2 that said the opening mechanism pushes the trash shelf out all the way, as if you cannot just open it part way. Could you tell me if that is correct with these 2 models? I didn't see any other comments about that. I'd like to know before buying one. Normally a soft close door/drawer is just opened normally as far as you want and then it does a soft close. Thank you!
