Answer: 300 refers to the CFM of the ventilator and has nothing to do with the size of the range hood. CFM stands for cubic feet per minute which refers to the amount of air that the blower filters.

Answer:
The size of your range hood should be typically slightly wider than your cook top. For example, a 30" cook top will need a range hood between 36-42" wide for indoor applications.

Answer: The liner that comes with the hood cover is designed to fit all 3 Broan ventilators listed on our website. Should you require to use a different ventilator. You will need to purchase a different liner to fit that ventilator.
Question: Do you recommend an insert to go with the Broan liner?
Answer: We offer three Broan power modules. If you are going to use the blower often, we would recommend the 400 CFM. If you have a 5 or 6 burner Chef's Range, use the 600 CFM.

Answer: If you are painting, normally Maple would be recommended.

Answer: The unit comes only unfinished.
