This chest lock has no safety recall issues that we know of.
I need to replace my cedar chest lock that was recalled due to children getting locked in there. CompX C8414-KA-4G, Chest / Lid Lock, Surface Mounted, Bolt Type Internal, Engages Strike, Keyed Alike, Antique Brass Specialty Locks
Is this replacement exactly the same or is it the new safety version because I have grandchildren and I do not want anyone getting locked in
