No, they do not have a finish on the wood and need to be stained/ clear coated to match your cabinet

Question: Can I cut off 7/8" off the back of each side. My space is only 11" deep. Is the rolled up tambour in the front or back of the overhead space?
Answer: We do not recommend altering the product. However, if you do, the consequence is that it would not be returnable for any reason.

Question: If I cut off about 6 inchs from height of garage would the rolling door still work properly? Thx
Answer: Yes. However, the tambour door rolls up at the front top of the opening. The roll is about 3.5" in diameter. This will make the "usable" space much less.
