To fit Euro screws, drill a 5 mm diameter pilot hole 10–12 mm deep in the cabinet panel. Align the hardware, insert the screw into the hole, and drive it flush using a Pozidriv screwdriver. Euro screws provide strong hold in particleboard and MDF without splitting. Euro screws are commonly used for attaching hinges and hardware in cabinetry, particularly in European-style furniture.
