OSHA requires spill containment measures for hazardous substances under 29 CFR 1910.120 and 29 CFR 1910.106. Employers must use secondary containment systems capable of holding 110% of the largest container’s volume to prevent environmental release. Proper labeling, access, and training are also required for compliance.
