Since you have 21" interior depth. The 18" slide is the required size for the drawer box depth per the manufacturer.

I am buildind a desk with 21" available for 2 drawers. What is the minimum distance required behind the drawer to the rear skirt? I think right now I am at a 18" drawer but I can move the front and rear skirts if I can squeeze in a 21" drawer.
