For most cabinet hardware, such as knobs and pulls, a #8-32 machine screw is standard. As an example, use #8 machine screws in lengths between 1" and 1.5" for standard cabinet hardware. Choose screw length based on the thickness of the cabinet door and hardware. For knobs and pulls, ensure screws extend at least 1/4" beyond the hardware for secure attachment.
