no, the wrap version for hinges are made for 3/4" frames. Meaning the prongs on the plates wrap around the back of the frame. Side mount hinges are made for larger frames, but will move the hole placement

the 3/4 inch thick original face frame was overlaid with 1/4 inch plywood and I want the mounting screw to remain in the center of the original 3/4 inch face frame stock for strength.
