Cam lock pins work by fitting into a rotating cam inside flat-pack furniture or cabinets. When the cam turns with a screwdriver, its internal hook grips the pin head and pulls two panels tightly together. Turning the cam in the opposite direction releases the pin so the joint can be disassembled.
