The standard SOSS hinge has been modified to permit the inclusion of a 3/8" baseplate and an easily adjusted spring
The closer functions as both hinge and a closer, eliminating the need for an additional hinge
Closer rate is completely adjustable after installation without removing the closer or any parts
In retrofit applications, the mortise depth must be increased 3/8" and one hole drilled to allow for the insertion of the spring into the door
for door thickness up to 1-3/8"; one closer for every 75 lb. of door
