Hi, I need to know if the BOTTOM ["depth" in description] is same as the TOP. I would call this the WIDTH. But whatever. :) It's the 9 5/16" measurement listed above. And if smaller -- what is the exact measurement across the bottom? THANKS!!

BEST ANSWER: The 14-5/16" is the top of the trash can. The can does taper down to 11-1/2" at the bottom.

Hi - Thanks but it's the "depth" listed above, the 9 5/16" measurement that I need to know what it tapers down to at the bottom. Not lengthwise end-to-end, BUT ACROSS the bottom side-to-side! Thanks!!
