How to Make Blind Corner Cabinet Space More Useful

A Blind Corner Cabinet is a cabinet positioned at the corner between two rows of base cabinets where part of one cabinet's contents is hidden by the other row of cabinets. It is blind in that you cannot see what is inside the cabinet portion that is hidden and it makes that space fairly difficult to use.

As you can see in the image below, the cabinet marked in yellow is a "blind corner cabinet". The light gray line represents the cabinet opening and the area to the right is the "blind" area that is hidden from view.

Example of a Blind Corner Cabinet

We can better utilize this hidden space by simply installing a blind corner cabinet pull-out or shelving system. There are several different types that give different access to the space. Read below about the different options available or visit the page directly to see the products.

Blind Corner Cabinet Pull-Outs

Blind corner cabinet pull-outs may be a set of wood or wire shelves in a framework that activate when the door is opened or a lever is pulled. These pullouts utilize a series of shelves that pull forward and out and then the hidden shelves pull to the open side and then out making everything within the cabinet visible and accessible.
