OMG it is perfect! I've been looking for a metal file rail replacement for my six wooden file cabinets. The ones that came with the cabinets are too weak. They kept buckling and all my files would fall to the side. Then I lost one rail in a move. Finally, I found these rails. The width fit perfectly in the slot on the cabinet and the rail is much stronger than the original ones. Overall I'm extremely satisfied. Received quicker than expected. Great find and great company. Advantages: Very strong! Holds my files in place. Super satisfied! Since I only purchased one rail, I'm ordering five more and replace all the other flimsy file rails that came with the cabinets.
Disadvantages: Had to cut the 72" metal file rail with a hacksaw and then file them down to make four 16.25" rails; but Hey, nobody sells 16.25" file rails of this kind. To top it off, I had to keep two of them a tiny bit longer because my file cabinet got a little wider over time.
