Compass and Scribe Economy Grade General Tools 843-1

This is my favorite scribing tool. I like to add a octagon Zebra 0.7 mechanical pencil to keep my line consistent. These are getting harder to find

Advantages: Lite, thin, fits tight places, dosent take a lot of space in tool bag, it reads pin point accuracy and transfers line simply
Disadvantages: Looks cheap, is cheap. But I’ve not found bulkier to be better.

Classic scribing compass. I have used these for decades. Fit easily into a pouch and accurate enough to get the job done. Be warned, if you lend these out you won't get them back. Always have two on hand!
