These do not lock in to prevent lifting out of the support strips, but the price is awesome. Anyway, I found a nice way to prevent that from happening. Just screw a small drywall screw in the mounting strip slot above the flange at each end of the shelf. That way it impossible for the shelf brackets at each end of the shelf to be lifted, without removing the screws.
