We installed two of these on a cabinet with three hinges. Once they were installed, the door was rubbing against the cabinet frame as if the hinges were pulling the door too close to the frame. Are your current hinges Blum hinges?

Yes they are BLUM. The restrictor clips were applied to the top and bottom hinges which are soft close. The center hinge is BLUM regular close.
