I want to flush mount these standards. I assume a router will work best. what is the routed width and depth? any rules how far those should be mounted from the front and back? 2 inches maybe?

These standards are 5/8" wide and 3/16" high. No rules as far as positioning in the cabinet. From the KV catalog: Flush mounting: Mark the installation location and width of each standard, and rout each dad cut to the desired depth. Position the standards so that numbers are right-side up. Nail the top hole of the standards into the desired position at equal heights. Check horizontal alignment with a level. Finish nailing.
