I want to flush mount these standards. I assume a router will work best. what is the routed width and depth? any rules how far those should be mounted from the front and back? 2 inches maybe? View answer

Based on the part numbers, it appears that these are manufactured by RPC (Rockford Process Control). Per their drawing (https://rockfordprocesscontrol.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/B0158XX1APP-PILASTER.pdf), these (HD, heavy-duty?) pilaster standards are 21 gauge steel, not 17 gauge aluminum. This is actually thicker than K&V, which publishes 23 gauge steel for their 255 series. Could you please verify the actual material? View answer
