There seem to be 4 potential face frame mounting plates to fit this product, and I'd like to know which you'd recommend for my application. Blum offers a Center mount and an Off-Center mount in both the cam-adjustable and non-adjustable die cast style. Why would one choose the off-center mount rather than the center mount? With the hinged in closed position, what is the max/min distance from door face to the mounting screw slot. I need 2.5 - 3.0 inch distance. Stated another way, the cabinet bracket will sit 2..5 -3.0 inches back from the face of the door. This is where the hinge mounts to the cabinet. View answer

I am building some Cabinets with Face Frame Application to utilize 110° Inset CLIP Top BLUMOTION Hinge Soft-Close Inserta Blum 71B3790. The face frame thickness is approximately 20mm (3/4 inc), hence, I am looking for an Hinge Plate that can be used on this narrow mounting surface with vertical height adjustability.
