I am building some Cabinets with Face Frame Application to utilize 110° Inset CLIP Top BLUMOTION Hinge Soft-Close Inserta Blum 71B3790. The face frame thickness is approximately 20mm (3/4 inc), hence, I am looking for an Hinge Plate that can be used on this narrow mounting surface with vertical height adjustability. There seem to be 4 potential face frame mounting plates to fit this product, and I'd like to know which you'd recommend for my application. Blum offers a Center mount and an Off-Center mount in both the cam-adjustable and non-adjustable die cast style. Why would one choose the off-center mount rather than the center mount?
