With the hinged in closed position, what is the max/min distance from door face to the mounting screw slot. I need 2.5 - 3.0 inch distance. Stated another way, the cabinet bracket will sit 2..5 -3.0 inches back from the face of the door. This is where the hinge mounts to the cabinet. View answer

What are the "door cups" included in the kit? I've seen in other sites that this item requires a "Retaining Catch for Push-to-Open Device".
