Privacy Notice

WoodworkerExpress.com LLC (“WWE”) has created this Website Privacy Notice ("Notice") in order to demonstrate WWE's commitment to privacy. WWE recognizes that all visitors, customers and users of WWE’s website located at www.woodworkerexpress.com (the “Website”), (collectively, “Users”) care how their information is used and shared. WWE would like Users to understand what information is collected about them, why this information is collected, how the information is used, what options are available to users concerning this information, and the safeguards in place to protect such information. This Notice includes WWE's information gathering and dissemination practices for the Website including, but not limited to, information gathered at the WWE online catalog or any other areas of the Website. Accessing the Website, every user agrees to be bound by this Notice. WWE may update this Notice from time to time. The effective date noted below will indicate the date that this Notice and WWE’s Terms and Conditions was last updated. Each User is responsible for checking this Notice periodically for updates.

Please be advised that the practices described in this Notice apply only to information gathered through the Website and, where applicable, through Woodworker Express' User Service Department in connection with the Website, and do not necessarily reflect WWE practices with respect to information gathered through other websites through which WWE operates. Specifically, WWE sells some products through a website located at www.houzz.com. Orders placed on www.houzz.com are received by WWE and fulfilled directly from WWE to You. To learn more about the website terms and how www.houzz.com handles privacy, please read their Privacy Notice (https://www.houzz.com/privacyPolicy) and Terms of Use (https://www.houzz.com/termsOfUse). Additionally, all international orders are processed and fulfilled through i-Parcel, a subsidiary of UPS. To gain a better understanding of i-Parcel and how it handles your information, please read their Privacy Notice (https://www.i-parcel.com/en/i-parcel-online-privacy-notice/) and its Website Terms of Use (https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/legal-terms-conditions/website.page).

What Information is Collected on the Website and Why?
WWE collects and stores certain information automatically whenever a User accesses the Website. The amount and type of information WWE collects depends upon the type of use of the Website. WWE collects the User’s IP address, browser information and related information. WWE also collects information regarding traffic patterns and site usage. This information is used to analyze and improve the Website and to provide Users with an improved ordering experience.

WWE may ask Users for personal information when they register at the Website. This information enables WWE to contact Users and provide information regarding WWE's products and services, including new products and services that WWE may introduce from time to time, and may enable Users to obtain product literature, receive online newsletters, or access restricted areas of the Website.

What Information is Stored?
WWE collects and stores information that Users enter through the Website or otherwise. For example, when a User opens an account or places an order, WWE collects and stores some or all of the following information: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, and encrypted credit card number and expiration date. This information is used to provide the products and services that a User has ordered or requested, to process and ship orders, to send order and shipping confirmations and to provide User service. In order to ship and track product orders, WWE makes the User’s name and address information available to common carriers and courier services such as i-Parcel / UPS. For information concerning i-Parcel’s policies, please see its Privacy Notice (https://www.i-parcel.com/en/i-parcel-online-privacy-notice/) and Terms of Use (https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/legal-terms-conditions/website.page). Information WWE collects also may be used by WWE to contact Users about products, promotions, upcoming events, special offers and new Website features. Each time a User comes to the Website, WWE may count, track and aggregate the User’s activity into an analysis of general traffic flows at the Website.

What Information Can You Access?
In the “My Account” section of the Website, Users who have created a profile may access the following information about themselves: name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. Users who have created a profile may update this information at any time by logging in with the username and password created by the User at the time the profile was created.

Email and Electronic Communications
In order to purchase a product from the Website, all Users must create an account. When you, as a User, (“You”) either create an account or purchase a product from the Website or send an e-mail to WWE from a desktop, laptop, mobile or other connected device (“Device”), You are communicating with WWE electronically, and agree to be bound by WWE’s Terms and Conditions. By using the Website, You consent to receive communications from WWE electronically. WWE will communicate with you by e-mail and sometimes by phone, or by posting notices and messages on the Website. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that WWE provides to You electronically satisfies any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Order confirmations and statuses will be sent to You electronically by e-mail. These order e-mails from WWE's system are separate from marketing and promotional e-mails.

If You do not want to receive e-mail from WWE regarding new products and services, promotions, upcoming events, special offers and new Website features, please click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any e-mail you receive from us or send an e-mail to CustomerService@woodworkerexpress.com and request to be removed from WWE’s promotional e-mail list. WWE will do everything in its power to promptly honor your opt-out e-mail request.

Please note it may take up to twenty four (24) hours for an opt-out request to be fully processed and therefore, within this timeframe, you may still receive marketing e-mails and notifications from WWE.

Use of Cookies
WWE uses "cookies", which are files which may be stored on Your computer's hard drive by the browser. These cookies help WWE to identify Users and to store their preferences. Cookies allow WWE to hold order information when a User leaves the Website without ordering product. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but allow a user to disable them. If the User disables the “WoodworkerExpress.com” cookie, the User may not be able to take full advantage of a personalized experience on the Website.

WWE may also collect and store information about Users received from other sources. This enables WWE to update and correct the information contained in WWE's database and to provide product recommendations and offers that may interest Users.

What Choices Do Users Have Concerning Their Information?
You may choose not to provide WWE with certain information WWE requests. However, that choice may make it more difficult for WWE to provide a high level of service to Users, if, for instance, the information is required in order for you to make a purchase. And, if the information is not required to purchase, choosing to withhold some information may prevent you from taking advantages of certain features of the Website, or prevent you from receiving User reviews or information on other products that may be helpful to you.

The “help” feature on most browsers should be helpful if You would like to refuse new cookies or delete new cookies or disable cookies. However, WWE recommends that You leave your browser cookies on, as disabling or altering the settings may inhibit or prevent the Website from providing the high level of service You would expect from WWE, or may prevent You from processing your order altogether.

Is Information Shared with Third Parties?
WWE does not sell to others any personal information that Users provide to WWE through the Website, except with the User's consent or as described in this Privacy Policy. WWE does not share Users' personally identifiable information with third parties except for WWE suppliers or business associates. If substantially all of WWE assets are acquired by a third party, such User personal information may be one of the transferred assets. WWE may engage third parties to perform services in connection with the operation of its business. Examples of these services may include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customization, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, Website evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing. WWE may provide a User's personal information to these third parties.

WWE may release a User's personal information if it believes in good faith that: it is required by law or legal process to do so; it is required by a law enforcement agency that has provided a valid request; or such release is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of WWE.

Links
The Website contains links to other Websites. WWE is not responsible for the privacy policies applicable to other Websites or how they may treat information about their users. Advertisers on the Website or other Websites to which User's link may have the ability to assign cookies in a process not under WWE control. WWE may merge information about Users which may then be shared on an aggregated basis with WWE co-sponsors, advertisers and business associates. A User's personal contact and demographic information will not be released by WWE to co-sponsoring third parties or non-participating organizations without the User's consent and, although WWE may request that co-sponsors of such events uphold the privacy of the registrants' information, WWE has no liability where the co-sponsors do not comply with any requests by WWE.

When appropriate, an option will be made available for Users during the event registration process to choose to receive information from third-party organizations.
