These do not lock in to prevent lifting out of the support strips, but the price is awesome. Anyway, I found a nice way to prevent that from happening. Just screw a small drywall screw in the mounting strip slot above the flange at each end of the shelf. That way it impossible for the shelf brackets at each end of the shelf to be lifted, without removing the screws.

I live in South Texas and was concerned about it being shipped. The product is awesome, it's beautiful and was shipped common carrier. I love it. Thank you to the service desk for their help with this and thanks for me being able to find this. I recommend anything this company sells.

Advantages: It is a great product, I haven't yet had it installed as we are in the process of a huge remodel but I have no fear that everything will be in it's place and work accordingly.
Disadvantages: None that I can see so far.
