A Finish Coordinated Sink/Faucet Combo Would Look Good In Your Kitchen

Mondays with Mike header

Oh my, who needs a roommate? …until you kick me out, that is!

You see, I’m not the tidiest mate out there and as your guest, your nice bright and beautiful kitchen (like the one shown here) would quickly be brought to its knees as it bears witness to my banana, sausage, chocolate sauce, and possibly hasenpfeffer ‘crumbs’ sticking to the ceiling (and floor). With my lack of kitchen hygiene awareness, I don’t think I’ll be asked back any time soon….so you’re saying there’s a chance?

Messy as I may be, it’s great to wash up with the help of this well-picked…”Bit of kit” (as they say across the pond) of faucet/sink/grid/basket goodies….Karran, anyone?

Here’s a clean thought for dirty minds: Now that you’ve got an amazing addition to your kitchen, why not use some of that ‘better than average’ foamy hand soap, move the water temperature over to warm and take 15 seconds to bask in the satisfaction of clean hands ‘on the way’, all the while knowing that you bought a long lasting, finish coordinated sink/faucet combo that could quite possibly give the impression that you’ve spent “Real Housewives of Palm Springs” type of money on your kitchen…even though you absolutely didn’t.

The pros who conceptualized this counter/island design knew well enough to use these fantastic looking longer length Matte Black pulls. They are a bit longer and are bordering on what we sometimes consider ‘Appliance Pulls’, but classification is not really important, because we have LOTS of sizes, widths, lengths, all easily filterable on the www.WoodworkerExpress.com website for YOUR kitchen, not the one that I’m trying to mooch off of/make suggestions for. Do you think I’d be out of line if I suggested my hosts buy a mixer lift for the lonely one sitting on the counter?

And, speaking of the counter, you can achieve that lovely long lasting look with laminate. Yes, I said laminate. Today’s laminates come in many stone finishes and textures. No one will ever know it’s not real marble….

I wonder if they’d also be open to paying for takeout tonight…I am getting kind of hungry, come to think of it.

When I think of my own personal definition of streamlined, I apply it to different items that I interact with regularly.

Not that I live a trashy life…I don’t, but as a homeowner I do interact with refuse and this Rev-A-Shelf dual top mount trash pull-out meets that definition for me. When mounted directly to this frameless cabinet front the result is a smooth, lightweight pull action. If you’ve never owned a mounted trash pull-out kit, trust us when we tell you you’ll want one. Turns out, Woodworker Express has a huge selection of brands in stock to meet your requirements regarding function, fit and finish.

Pulling back a bit more, we’ve got a really nice kitchen excerpt here. As I mentioned in my last post, one of my favorite finishes is on display here: Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Ultra-classy and so unbelievably suitable in so many decorative scenarios. Not only are the pulls adorned in ORB, so too is the faucet

I think the stairs look amazing, but the lack of hand railing might make me reconsider my new hobby of sleepwalking. I reckon Woodworker Express could help out with some railing options…last I heard, there’s a spot on the site for those types of products.

I could go on about this nice gray kitchen with a fabulous trash pull-out Oil Rubbed Bronze highlights, but upon noticing the oven hiding in back there, I’m reminded that I’ve got a Range Oven Ignitor component piece to replace later today…no flame, no dinner! The chef beckons for the repair…so I’ll see you all next week.

Hi Folks,

Please be sure to check out the products (tagged featured and/or mentioned here), which are similar to or the same as the actual products shown. This is what accessorizing is all about here. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners of this kitchen have an endorsement with Rev-A-Shelf, there’s so many nice things here! What’s more…they know where everything is and goes. I cannot boast of that, ask my spouse…she knows where things go…especially the rolling pin! Which everyone knows goes in a nice wood cutlery drawer….It really is a case of base organizer pull-out mania here, I’d guess. Speaking of which, there’s plenty of that going on at www.WoodworkerExpress.com. Come look at our pantry and drawer organizers…you’ll be conveniently amazed!
